Processing any print job, even if you don't physically print any pages, makes your eBook ineligible for a refund.
The eReader offers the printing option only if the publisher has included a print allowance.
Checking Your eBook’s Printing Allowance
Not all publishers include a print allowance for all eBooks. To help, the product details page makes clear if your eBook has print capabilities.
To check your eBook's print allowance, navigate to your Shelf and select the product in question to reveal the details.
Under eBook Features, locate the label Printing with the printer icon next to it.
Your print allowance is to the right of the Printing label. The allowance may be either a percentage of the book or a range of pages per day. Please note that a day is 24 hours in this situation, not a calendar day.
If you don’t see the Print icon, the publisher does not offer print capabilities for the particular title.
Printing
Once you have determined your book’s print allowance, you can create a print job to print from your eBook. Click on the Sidebar Menu icon (four horizontal bars) in the top left corner of your screen, then select Print.
Click Create New Print to begin a new print job.
Under the Select header, choose the range of pages or sections you wish to print. When finished, click the Add Page Range button.
- If your book has page numbers, select the Add Page Range button when you're finished. Click Continue.
- If your book is organized by section and not page numbers, be sure you are in the section of the book you'd like to print. Click Continue.
Under Options, you can also decide to include the notes and highlights you’ve made in your eBook on your print job. Please note that highlights when printing may block some portions of your content.
When printing, an in-depth watermarking needs to occur on each page. We recommend keeping all print jobs under 25 pages to prevent your print job from stalling.
With your eBook print job, you can then either print or download it as a PDF. Click the Download button and then use your system’s print dialogue to either Save to PDF or Print.
Please let us know if you have any troubles with this process!
