Best Practices to avoid rejected requests

Product requests are submitted through Partner Dashboard when a Follett store has an
adoption that needs to be fulfilled.  Below are a few things to keep in mind when submitting one
of these requests.

List of Publishers not Supported by Follett – Requests submitted for these products will
be denied:

• Penguin Random House
• Simon & Schuster
• West Academic
• Packback
• Macmillan Trade

Follett does not deliver courseware for the following publishers. Any requests for these
courseware items will be denied:

• Macmillan
• Wiley
• Cengage
• Norton
• Jones and Bartlett Learning
• Knewton

The following publishers do not support Store Specific Point of Sale pricing. All requests
made for these products should be for IA pricing:

• Human Kinetics
• Ingram
• Jones and Bartlett Learning
• Kendall Hunt
• Great River Learning
• Springer Nature BV dba Springer Science
• Townsend Press
• Vista Higher Learning

Additional best practice to keep in mind when submitting product requests:

• Be sure to enter the Publisher Name in both specified fields – this allows for quicker processing
• Provide an accurate course start date or term – this assures accurate pricing
• Before submitting an EA request, please assure this was not previously requested by Home Base
• Pearson Plus products are not eligible for IA pricing
• Enter ‘0’ in the Duration Field if you are requesting a product at a lifetime duration
